October 13th, 2008: An Early Halloween Celebration

I’ve been struggling and struggling to make layouts for a few years now, they don’t come to me as easily or as prettifully as I’d like them to (lol prettifully). But ah well. As long as it eventually comes, sure, why not. I’ll accept it. So, I bring you the very first design for Happyvenus.net, Spooky! (creative name, I know). Ain’t it cute?
It took me actually way longer to code it than I wanted. ~_~ Not done, need to add my Twitter stuff to the footer and do an overhall to the comments. I really hate how the comments look. But all that will be for another time, ya hear? I’m too tired and way, way, way too hungry! Step dad is making black beans and rice and cooking up some delicious steaks on the barbeque! Gonna enjoy that and nomnomnom my way to happiness.
Also, I’m attempting to make longer indepth posts! I’ve noticed I don’t really throw in details and I hate skinny paragraphs XD So I’m working on writing more and getting more of my feelings out. I think that’s a pretty good start.
There’s been a lot of stuff happening with my family and especially my mom, bad stuff really. I’d like to talk about it and express my worries and stuff here but not now. This is a celebratory post! Yes. So in the near future I’ll blog about what’s been happening in my life, because otherwise I’d go crazy, I think. How often do you blog about your personal life? Do you think your blog feels appropriate if you post personal entries? I strayed a lot from how I used to blog in the last few years, none of my posts were really personal. So feel free to share!
Blah. He’s cooking chicken on the barbeque, too. I’m so bloody hungry, waiting for this deliciousness is killing me!
