October 5th, 2008: Smell that Fresh Page

So this is the second opening of HappyVenus (third if you count that now-dead philosophy.nu blog) and I’ll make it work this time.

My plans for this domain is to keep it really simple, just a blog if possible. Maybe someday I’ll put up content pages but you know what, take this blog for what it is. A blog. As selfish as that is, because no one wants to read about some random person’s ramblings without  gaining anything in return, right? Or maybe I’m undermining my potential visitors. In that case, sorry. I can be a bit of a realist sometimes.

Anyways, welcome.

Welcome to my fresh start. I am Melissa though I like to be referred to as Munin or Moo.  Those two are nicknames given to me by amazing friends who I’ll love forever and ever. I’m a bit boring, shy, and sometimes get creative sparks. When I do get creative sparks, I’ll be sure to post them here in some way.

I’m twenty years old and I have an evil cat. And so begins this blog.

   MOO-chan!!!!! Great to know you are still alive I was heading down your myspace page when suddenly I read your fare-well to myspace, so I followed up on the link and here I am. Guahh guahh hey I have something on my mind and most probably if you are in contact with Mark he will tell you about Guillermo’s ramblings on myspace. So efore I get off topic here is what I wrote (I send the same text to Mark):

   If I were to tell you that in this life-time you wouldn’t have to see violence or crimes anymore, you wouldn’t see anymore poverty or unemployment, in fact-there would not be any of that at all. If I could tell you that in this life-time we can have a better world with a better understanding of one another and we can stop hating each other and separate each other with doctrines, systems or religion, a world without laws or prisons, without murders or accidents. A world where no one controls you or me, no government or job to tell you what to do or not do, a world where there no corporation controlling resources and trades, basically a world we can actually live in without brutality, injustice, greed, control and hate. Would you belive me? Better yet, if given the opportunity, would you join this emergence towards a better future?

   Let me know what you think about it, myspace or e-mail, doesn’t matter. Till then.

   Much love for Smashing Magazine themes (obviously), they’re awesome.
